Dearest Partners and Supporters,
Thank you for your prayers for our brothers and sisters who were affected by Typhoon Rammasun
or also known as Typhoon Glenda here in the Philippines.
Based on the reports, 96,740 families were displaced. While there are 7,044 totally damaged houses and 19,869 were partially
Typhoon Glenda has passed to the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Quezon, Laguna, Rizal,
Cavite, Bataan, Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, and in the National Capital Region (Metro Manila). Parts of Metro
Manila showed minimal damage but the Province of Quezon suffered the most.
Unfortunately, being located at San Antonio, Quezon, Sorok Uni Village and its members are included to those who have been affected
by the Typhoon.
We have lost solar panels, houses, trees and crops were also damaged and most of them are currently staying in the Church together with
other residents of neighboring brgys.
Furthermore, San Antonio, Quezon have 2,315 families or 11,444 individuals affected with 518 households totally damaged and 1797 partially damaged.
With this, we would like to request for your help not only for the members of Sorok Uni Foundation but most especially, other displaced families
located in the Province of Quezon.
We would be needing construction materials for the roofs, personal hygiene kits, blankets, medicines and food relief.
We will also accept cash donations esp for the construction materials and for the livelihood projects affected by the Typhoon.
Sorok Team members are now in Quezon Province for proper coordination with baranggays and municipalities.
We will send you updates of our brother and sisters situation in next hours and days.
To those who would like to help, kindly send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org / email@example.com.
You can also send us text messages or call us at 09175912526.
Thank you so much. God Bless.
